The Eyam Fun Run 1.3 miles (2.1Km) is for children under the age of 16. It starts from the square approx 10.45am soon after the Half Marathon has set off at 10.30am.

The circular route follows the main road through the village and turns left onto Tideswell lane up a small incline. Left onto Windmill lane then takes the runners along to join Dunlow lane which is a steep downhill and then back to the main road via New Close.
In 2026 all winners received a certificate signed by Harry Hudson (World Junior Cycling Road Race Champion). Previous races have had certificates signed by Julia Bradbury, Steve Backshall, Erling Haaland, Jessica Ennis, Rebecca Adlington and Tom Cruise (yes actual Tom Cruise).
The route is marshalled; however, parents are responsible for their own children and should supervise accordingly. Parents are welcome to join in and run with their children. All abilities are very welcome! Sorry, no dogs are allowed on the fun run.

105 runners successfully finished this year's fun run and received certificates signed this year by Harry Hudson, an 18-year-old British cyclist who went to Hope Valley College! He made history in September 2025 by becoming the first British male to win the UCI Junior Road Race World Championship held in Kigali, Rwanda. He currently rides for the Lidl-Trek Future Racing Team.
